About

I'm Alessandro Cacciola, a junior full-stack web developer. I live just west of Milan: I work as an employee at a company and, alongside that, as a freelancer.

I have a diploma in computer science, but much of what I know I taught myself: I started programming at 13 and never stopped.

For the past two years I've worked as a full-stack developer at software companies; alongside that, I take on freelance projects for clients in any industry.

I take care of the whole journey of a web product, from the interface to the database, all the way to launch. I mostly work with TypeScript, React and Next.js, but I'm just as happy with Vue and Nuxt, PHP with Laravel and whichever CMS suits the project: Payload, Storyblok or WordPress.

I like writing code that whoever comes after me can understand: small, documented components, explicit types, design systems built on tokens instead of colours scattered across the code. This website is built that way.
